It’s Just A Story
… that’s what most of would think or say when we talk about Bible stories.
“The Lord was with Joseph, and he was a successful man…” Genesis 39:2
I had my quiet time, and this came into my mind… “Was Joseph real? How would people know that Joseph was real?”
Some people would say… “Wait! That’s just an old story in the past. Probably just a legend or a fairytale!” ”Is it really possible for a man who had nothing but God to become successful? Impossible… I have to see it happen now.”
Many of us know the success story of Joseph, sold as a slave with nothing but rose as a powerful leader. “That can’t happen to me now.” It can happen to anyone, but people need to see things first to make them believe. If only believers would live like the way Joseph or any person in the Bible had lived, as living testimonies, they’d see that these people in the Bible are real, and know that success (along with God) can happen in their lives too. And maybe they can say now, “It’s not just a story…”
